Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Zania. By using the App you represent that you are 17 or older. Zania is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.

2. What Zania Is

Zania is an open events discovery platform. Anyone can post events. Zania does not organize, host, or endorse any event listed on the platform. Events are posted by individual users and imported from third-party data sources.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us at support@zania.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. User-Posted Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post. By posting you represent that: the information is truthful and accurate; you have the right to post it; the event does not promote illegal activity; and the content does not violate any third party's rights. You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Zania a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content within the App and in related promotional materials.

5. Prohibited Conduct & Content

You agree not to post or engage in:

• Sexual, violent, or otherwise objectionable material.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discrimination.
• Spam, scams, fraud, or deliberately misleading information.
• Content that promotes illegal activity.
• Impersonation of other people or organizations.
• Attempts to access other users' accounts or circumvent the App's security.

6. Moderation, Reporting & Blocking

Zania has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. To report content or a user, tap the “…” menu on any event or profile and choose “Report.” To block a user, tap “Block User” on their profile — blocked users cannot message you or appear in your feed.

We review every report within 24 hours and will remove content, suspend, or permanently ban offending users as appropriate. Users who abuse the reporting system may also have their accounts suspended. You can also email support@zania.app for urgent reports.

7. No Guarantee of Safety

Zania does not verify event organizers, venues, or attendees. You attend events at your own risk. Zania is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or dispute arising from events listed on the platform. Always use your own judgment and take appropriate safety precautions.

8. Third-Party Events & Services

Some events are imported from third-party sources including Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, PredictHQ, and Eventbrite. Zania does not control the accuracy of this data. Ticket purchases are handled by the respective third-party platform. The App also relies on Supabase (authentication and data storage), Apple Maps (mapping), and Apple Push Notification Service (notifications). Each provider has its own terms and privacy policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The Zania name, logo, design, and all original content within the App are the property of Vapor95 Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Upon termination your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vapor95 Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kings County (Brooklyn), New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
